The founding
Dake is founded, a noze spinoff dedicated to sensors, IoT and energy. Dake’s launch is announced by Stefano Noferi during the RIPEG project final conference, underscoring the direct link between research and the new venture.
The origins
Dake is born from the experience gained in the RIPEG project: real-time environmental monitoring, distributed sensor network management, geospatial data analysis and Business Intelligence applied to environmental data. The skills developed for RIPEG — mobile sensor data collection, real-time processing, geolocated visualisation — find in Dake a dedicated vehicle for industrial development.
The focus
Dake’s activity centres on AI optimisation of energy networks: applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to the management, forecasting and optimisation of energy flows. A domain where the combination of IoT sensors, data analytics and predictive algorithms enables improved efficiency and reduced waste.
The model
With Dake, noze confirms the spinoff model as a tool for transferring research results into autonomous and focused business ventures. After FaSt in photovoltaics, Dake represents the group’s second spinoff, with a more advanced positioning on the axis of artificial intelligence applied to energy.
