The collaboration

The collaboration with YK-Robotics launches for the technical direction and product development of a multi-brand robotic programming software accessible via web. The goal is to overcome the fragmentation of proprietary languages from different industrial robot manufacturers, offering a unified and intuitive interface.

The approach

The project adopts a cloud-native approach: the application is entirely accessible from the browser, with no local installations, and real-time synchronization of programs and configurations. This enables technicians to program and monitor robots from any workstation.

The distinctive element is the integration of artificial intelligence modules on two fronts:

  • AI for vision: computer vision systems for automatic recognition of objects, positions and geometries in the robot’s workspace. The computer vision models feed the automatic generation of trajectories and movements.
  • Automatic instruction field generation: algorithms that automatically compile robotic program parameters from visual and contextual data, drastically reducing programming times.

Multi-brand compatibility

The software abstracts the differences between the programming languages of major manufacturers — ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, Universal Robots and others — translating a single program into the native code of each platform. This approach eliminates the need for specialized expertise for each individual brand.

The journey

The collaboration develops with continuity through to its planned conclusion, bringing the product from the prototype phase to the operational version.
