Final conference

The SMARTOUR project concludes with a final conference at the Aula Magna of DIAG, La Sapienza, Rome. The project, originally planned for 30 months, was extended to 42 months due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Results

The delivered platform includes:

  • Cloud-native infrastructure on Kubernetes/Rancher with CI/CD, monitoring and centralised logging
  • Headless web portals for operators and PAs with component architecture
  • Territorial experiments across Salerno (urban security), Tuscany — Prato and Pisa (cultural access and AR), Pistoia (conservation monitoring), Piedmont (infomobility)

noze’s contribution

noze coordinated three central Work Packages (OR):

  • OR 1.3: infrastructure analysis and integration requirements (deliverable D1.3)
  • OR 11.3: Kubernetes cloud-native platform (deliverable D11.3)
  • OR 12.2: web access portals (deliverable D12.2)

The project involved 9 SMEs, 4 universities and 3 CNR institutes, with a technology journey spanning the entire cloud-native paradigm evolution from 2014 to 2022.
