The project
VALKYRIES launches as a project funded by the European Union under its civil security research programmes. The objective is the development of systems for the rapid deployment of first aid vehicles in multi-victim disaster scenarios across European territory.
The operational scenario
Multi-victim disasters — earthquakes, floods, industrial accidents, terrorist attacks — require a coordinated and timely response. Traditional first aid systems have limitations in deployment speed and the ability to operate in compromised environments. VALKYRIES addresses these challenges with an integrated technological approach.
noze’s contribution
noze participates in the European consortium contributing to the design and development of the project’s technology platform. noze’s expertise in software architecture, artificial intelligence and systems integration is applied to building the coordination and communication modules between first aid vehicles and operational centres.
The consortium
The project brings together academic, industrial and institutional partners from several European countries, with the goal of producing results transferable to national civil protection systems. The collaboration between engineering, medical and computer science expertise represents the core of the VALKYRIES approach.
