Collaboration with Meyer
On 6 March 2020 the collaboration between noze and the Ospedale Pediatrico Meyer in Florence begins, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence to Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS). The objective is the development of machine learning models for clinical support in paediatric gastroenterology.
Short Bowel Syndrome
SBS is a condition characterised by insufficient intestinal absorption due to a significant reduction in small intestine length, typically following surgical resections in the neonatal period. Clinical management is complex and requires continuous monitoring of nutritional parameters and therapies.
noze’s contribution
noze develops machine learning models for:
- Predictive analysis of the clinical evolution of paediatric SBS patients
- Therapeutic decision support based on longitudinal clinical data
- Classification of response patterns to nutritional treatments
The approach is based on the analysis of structured clinical data collected over time, aiming to provide clinicians with quantitative tools to support disease management.
