Take part in the Italian launch of PloneGov with noze.

Believing that growing opportunities for free software sharing among public administrations may interest your organisation, noze S.r.l. is pleased to invite you to the event of 16 September 2008, dedicated to the Italian launch of PloneGov, an initiative to promote and share among Public Administrations — central and local, European and worldwide — experience and applications based on the “Plone” Content Management System: an open source technology for building Web portals, collaborative intranets, and vertical applications oriented to information sharing.

The Ferrara Chamber of Commerce was the first Italian public body to join the initiative, soon followed by the University and the Province of Ferrara, plus other bodies such as the Municipalities of Modena and Arezzo, the Reno Galliera Union, the Regional Agency for Environmental Prevention and Protection of Veneto, and the National Environmental Information System Network. At European scale, PloneGov is joined by National Health Services, Municipalities, Municipal Associations, Regional Governments, Chambers of Commerce. The potential audience for the event is therefore extremely broad. Attendance is free.

It is an unmissable opportunity to get to know better a technology that can do much for public bodies of any size. At http://www.fe.camcom.it/plonegov/evento-160908 further information about the event, the detailed programme, and the online registration form are available.

At the same address and at http://www.plone.it/scopri/plonegov comprehensive descriptive texts about the PloneGov initiative are available.

After the morning session talks, the afternoon meetings with the companies of the European ZEA Partners network (technical partner of PloneGov) will be preceded by a buffet lunch offered by the Ferrara Chamber of Commerce. The date has been set about one month before COM-PA 2008, which will host a stand dedicated to PloneGov.
