The sixth issue of Innov’azione magazine is available on the website of Innov’azione, powered by noze.
In this issue
In this sixth issue, the Italian economic and scientific landscape is analysed and the need to focus on Research capacity and on transforming inventions into business opportunities is highlighted: the strengthening and specialisation of Centres of Excellence and Universities are key. The road ahead is still long, and the clash with the resistance of Italian investors — who struggle to recognise the prospective value of good emerging ideas — is heated.
A new business model is also described, the Lifestyle Business: lean companies that try to maintain a flexible structure, aim for quality, simple processes, personal customer relationships, and that strive to govern a significant business with minimal resources.
The 10 years of Polo Tecnologico di Navacchio are celebrated, one of the most important science parks on the national stage.
Talks by Researchers and Professors of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa, young entrepreneurs, technology pioneers and the unmissable commentary by Emil Abirascid.
The Innov’azione project
The Innov’azione project is not just a magazine: it is an element of the ecosystem whose purpose is to actively support innovation in Italy, and noze is proud to be part of it.
Innovation is not seen as an abstract concept, but as the fundamental lever of the economy, a propulsive tool for new ideas, resources and profits.
The editor-in-chief is an exceptional figure: Emil Abirascid, an ICT-specialised journalist, an “accelerator of dialogue between companies and innovation”, mentor and discoverer of “ideas that become enterprises”. Abirascid argues that, in order to enable start-up companies to develop and become pillars of the Italian economy, fertile ground and loving, specific care are required, deriving from close collaboration between academia, finance and the business world. Innov’azione aims to create and nurture this system.
The tool designed is interactive and functional and allows readers to:

Valuable partnerships
The project is made up of and enriched by coordinated and interacting elements:
Innov’azione is a media partner of Percorsi dell’innovazione and of the Imprese e start up events. Emil Abirascid is their creator and supporter, and is committed to defining the key points of a precise strategy that delivers concrete results.
Both projects aim to create occasions and facilitate the meeting between start-ups, the industrial world and investors. Imprese e start up is also a reference point for anyone involved in innovation in Italy, including start-ups and businesses, but also investors and the academic and institutional world.
In particular, Imprese e start up is the social network born with the support of Innovhub, the special company of the Milan Chamber of Commerce for innovation; Percorsi dell’innovazione is the area dedicated to Italian innovative start-ups developed within Smau.
