noze’s contribution

Stefano Noferi presents the paper “Open Source and Content Management in Public Administration”, illustrating the concrete case of InFlow CMS. The presentation shows how an Open Source CMS based on Zope/CMF can meet the document management and publishing needs of public administration, with advantages in terms of costs, flexibility and technological independence.

The presentation slides are available for download in both OpenOffice.org and PowerPoint formats, reflecting noze’s commitment to open document standards alongside widely used proprietary formats.

The conference fits into a period of intense institutional debate on Open Source adoption in Italian public administration, with several local authorities launching experiments and the legislature beginning to address the topic in a structured way.
